We are seeking an entry-level Compliance Associate to join our team in Morristown, NJ. This position provides great growth opportunities and exposure to the C-Suite of our clients who we assist with portfolio and operational risks that impact their business.

 

Responsibilities

  • Learn SEC regulatory compliance requirements for private equity, real estate, venture capital, hedge fund, and institutional alternative managers;

  • Travel and participate in client audits with experienced compliance professionals;

  • Research compliance issues;

  • Assist in the preparation of regulatory filings;

  • Learn the skills of client management;

  • Receive training to prepare policies and procedures and other client deliverables;

  • Conduct compliance program testing, including review of social media and electronic communications; and

  • Become skilled in compliance review of marketing materials and websites.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required;

  • Self-motivated and willingness to collaborate with a team;

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills;

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, project and process management;

  • One year of relevant work experience at a private fund adviser, regulator, law firm, or other financial services firm environment preferred, but not required; and

  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OneNote.
