We’re looking for an outgoing Sales Manager to help us smash our sales goals You’ll help us generate leads by prospecting potential clients and adding qualified leads to the sales funnel. Responsibilities:

  • Strategize to effectively manage existing customer accounts and obtain new accounts
  • Prospect potential customers via calls, email, or other forms of communication to ensure they are added to the sales pipeline and produce more qualified leads
  • Remain current on projected production volume and strive to meet and exceed company sales goals.
  • Develop a personal network to assist the firm in achieving practice development and marketing goals by identifying business opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Follow-up with and secure new deals, and target buyers quickly, give them the information they need to envision our brand and close deals efficiently.
  • Qualify prospective customers quickly by fact-finding to identify decision-makers, pain points, competition, budget, timeline, and other potential obstacles.
  • Meet monthly and quarterly sales and revenue expectations.
  • Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
  • Ensure customer retention through excellent follow-up sales procedures.
  • Maintain and develop relationships with existing and potential customers; possess a thorough knowledge of them their businesses.
  • Remain current on industry trends and suggest potential areas of opportunity for management
  • Update the customer database regularly to provide the most up-to-date client information to the sales team.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure all orders are successfully filled and any issues are promptly reported and resolved.
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints as needed.
  • Report customer complaints to Quality and Operations for investigation and resolution.
  • Provide support in the event of a product issue. Initiate the corrective action process.
  • Report on key performance and sales metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis to ensure sales goals are achieved
  • Generate qualified leads for the sales team so they can provide a quick response to customers
  • Deliver sales presentations about products and services to new and existing customers, negotiate deals, and obtain sales contract signatures.
  • Expand the clientele by finding new business opportunities within specific geographies.
  • Estimate project cost and scope utilizing estimating tools and high attention to detail
  • Accurately complete estimates within specified timelines in a deadline driven environment
  • Make changes and gain approvals when necessary
  • Collaborate with the estimating team.
  • Attend in-person or online trainings, meetings, trade shows, and sales events as requested.
  • Maintain up-to-date information on our services and products, industry, competition, and market conditions in order to present them to clients and ensure customer needs are met.
  • Help company stay on top of all developments related to new business opportunities, sales activities, and customer needs through our CRM

 

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience:

Associate degree in Business required or related field required.

Bachelor’s (4-year) degree in Marketing, or related field preferred but not required. Five (5) years of relevant experience.

Proven track record of sales experience, 3-5 years.

 

  • Selling Skills:

Understands and effectively applies the concepts of differentiation and adding value.

Knows customer markets and the issues/challenges they face and can translate that information into useful selling strategies.

Builds long-term relationships to drive increased revenue and demand for services

Must have strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

 

  • Financial Reports and Documents:

Understand basic concepts of financial reports: Profit Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.

Able to interpret results and translate them into focused actions.

  • Strategic Skills:

Comprehends the ‘big picture’. Determines opportunities and threats.

Comfortable contributing to the strategic plan and future direction of the organization.

  • Mathematical Skills:

Strong math skills. Ability to compute rates, ratios, and percentages, and to interpret financial information.

Analyze performance against business plans and industry benchmarks.

  • Computer Skills

Demonstrates proficiency in the use of computers and computer software; especially MS Office, Word, Excel, and sales software (ACT, CRM, etc.)

 

  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
