Responsibilities:
- Review coding on a large volume of vendor invoices in an accurate and timely manner.
- Voucher invoices using 3-way match.
- Resolve open issues with vendor accounts
- Monitor and manage assigned vendor statements; request missing invoices as needed; follow up on incorrectly applied payments.
- Electronically file and organize work documents.
- Match and mail check payments as needed
- Routine clerical duties including, but not limited to, filing, copying, and mailing.
- Assist the Accounts Payable Manager in the preparation of miscellaneous reports and analysis.
- Communicate in a professional manner with vendors and employees.
- Communicate with vendors regarding shortages, errors or questions on invoices.
- Research invoices/payments for vendors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required, Associates Degree/Bachelors Degree a plus.
- Proficient Excel knowledge.
- Proven ability to work as part of a team.
- Organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Ability to prioritize and move from task to task as required.
- Ability to achieve goals independently.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
