Job DescriptionJob Description

Vaco Los Angeles is working with a client near Carson, Ca who is in need of an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. The Accounts Receivable Analyst will focus on reconciling the General Ledger and applying payments accurately while making sure all information has relevant back up documentation and all work is done with full integrity.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze daily cash receivables from licensing business and utilize SAP to apply cash
  • Prepare and analyze licensee account analysis including cash, invoices, and royalty reporting activities
  • Communicate with licensees to assist and resolve billing and cash application issues
  • Create documentation for management approvals of credit memo’s
  • Ability to utilize systems to create and analyze ad hoc financial reporting
  • Assist in the effective and efficient month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring transactions are in accordance with GAAP and that internal policies and procedures are followed
  • Other projects as assigned

 

 

Qualifications/Skills: 

  • BA/BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline preferred
  • 2-3+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to organize and deliver meaningful insight from large amounts of data
  • Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills
  • Capable of self-prioritizing workload
  • Intermediate to Advanced Excel skill preferred
  • Proficiency in Office Suite (PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamic AX or similar ERP preferred
