A healthcare client is looking for a strong Epic Beaker Analyst to join their team. This resource will be joining a team of 11 other individuals. This resource will be responsible for collaborating with clinicians and end users of the system to design, build, test, train, implement, and maintain Epic system. This resource should have a strong comprehensive understanding for Epic Beaker.  They must utilize the knowledge of clinical practice, computer science, and information technology to manage data and determine components that are suitable to build while maintaining alignment with the professional standards of practice. They are responsible for coordinating with physicians and end users in the analysis and documentation of workflows, performing gap analysis, identifying needed process changes, and developing future workflows during the implementation of new solutions or functionality.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of overall Epic Beaker experience (specific focus in Microbiology)
    • Must be able to demonstrate advanced functional knowledge of Epic Beaker
  • Microbiology experience (as in experience working in a lab as a microbiologist)
  • Epic Beaker CP certification
  • Ability to design, develop, configure, and maintain Epic system modules
  • Must be able to actively participates in project, team, departmental and other meetings
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues within the system
  • Be able to communication effectively with all teams and leaderships
