We are looking for someone who has at least 1 - 2 years of Inventory Management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Job Title: Materials Inspector / Inventory Coordinator
Location: Newburyport, MA
Duration: Temp-to-Hire
Work schedule: 1st shift 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Need to make sure they are paying attention to part numbers, qtys and lot numbers
  • Following defined specifications and reaction paths.
  • Uses multiple hand tools to manually process delicate products without damaging components.
  • Stocks and issues materials for assembly build.
  • Trains employees on specs and processes used in the area.
  • Maintains well-organized and audit ready work areas.
  • Utilizes computer-based manufacturing systems to move products and enter data.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A high school diploma or GED is required
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to communicate verbally
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Both high power or low power scopes
  • SAP systems for inventory
  • Basic skills involving counting many parts and other materials
  • Experience with any type of inventory system, for ex SAP, Oracle etc.
