Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWhitbeck Bennett is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Legal Administrative Assistant to join our legal team in Leesburg, VA. The ideal candidate will provide administrative support to our attorneys and legal staff, contributing to the efficient operation of our legal department. The Legal Administrative Assistant will undertake a variety of tasks, including managing schedules, preparing legal documents, organizing files, and communicating with clients. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sense of professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff.
  • Manage and maintain attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and court deadlines.
  • Organize and maintain legal files and documents, both electronic and physical.
  • Communicate with clients, attorneys, and external parties to gather information or relay messages.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail and emails.
  • Perform other general office duties as assigned such as answering phones, photocopying, and filing.

The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, take pride in their appearance, and always wear a smile. 

Experience: This is an excellent position for a beginner paralegal or someone who desires to gain experience in a law office.
