Pay: From $55,000.00 per year (Salary / Exempt)

Job Overview: The Junior Accountant will play a crucial role in the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable business transactions of the Companies / Portfolio.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable

·        Assist with the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.

·        Manage processing of accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.

·        Assist with monthly reconciliations of bank accounts by compiling and balancing financial information.

Process Improvement

·        Review and analyze the performance of various procedures and make recommendations for improvements.

Month-End, Year-End, & Annual Audit 

·        Assist with month-end close process.

·        Assist with year-end close process.

·        Assist with the annual audit process.

Other responsibilities may be assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
  • 2+ years of accounting experience.
  • STRONG Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
