Requirements:

Responsibilities

· Develops and maintains strong client relationships with OEM customers and distributor accounts while meeting company objectives. Ensures NRP Jones, LLC products are specified to maintain and increase revenue by prioritizing the opportunities on an account-by-account basis to obtain required sales and margin goals.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive technical knowledge of product applications, features, advantages, and benefits. Remain current with relevant internal and external training and development.

· Obtain product specifications and approvals at major accounts, and/or distributors assigned to develop increased sales opportunities.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and their activity in the marketplace and provide reports, on a regular and/or monthly basis. Keep management aware of changes that would affect the distribution of NRP Jones, LLC products.

· Assist NRP Jones, LLC in planning strategy to provide the products and services required for assigned accounts.

· Provide product training at the distributor and customer levels. Motivate and provide sales direction to the distributors. Assist in the conversion of competitive accounts to NRP Jones, LLC.

· Grow sales and expand NRP Jones presence in the assigned market(s); Both in OEM sales and Distributor sales.

· Identify customer needs, provide knowledgeable assistance to help customers select the correct products to serve their needs.

· Participate in all events deemed necessary by the company like sales meetings, trade shows, etc.

· Remain informed on all new existing products carried by the company.

· Close the sale with a customer.

· Support telemarketing sales activities as required like local phone calls from customers or potential customers.


Qualifications

Required:

· Demonstrated experience in selling manufactured products through distribution.

· Effective communication, both oral and written; PC skills a must.

· Past demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets; sustain sales growth in territory; proven track record of achieving sales goals.

· Must be able to travel overnight 50% - 70% of time or as required.


Preferred:

· Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 5-10 years’ experience in direct and/or distributor sales of industrial technical products; progressive experience in selling to OEM’s and distributor channels.

· A technical degree is preferred with sales experience in hydraulics and/or fluid power.
