Summary:
The Design Engineering Manager is responsible for supervising the design team, providing feedback and monitoring the quality of the design output. Managing project timelines and budgets, ensuring resources are used effectively and actively collaborating in the global team.
 
Responsibilities:
•    Lead the team of design engineers to ensure best quality, time and cost
•    Maintain quality standards and processes
•    Release product documentation of the team members
•    Plan and allocate design resources for the given tasks
•    Working with clients to ensure that their expectations are met.
•    Providing feedback and find solutions on design within the organization capabilities.
•    Mitigation of risks and challenges in the products.
•    Staying active on given legislation and codes of practice related to design.
•    Working in an office, with occasional customer visits.
•    Advise the manager of this position
     o    in strategic, tactical and operative decisions
     o    in technical range and readiness of the proposed solutions
     o    in delays or deviations of the planning in advance to enable countermeasures

Qualifications and Skills:
•    Bachelor’s degree in engineering
•    The job holder must be US Citizen
•    Advanced design skills
•    Product-focused creative thinking
•    In-depth knowledge of industry design principles
•    Strong working knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) or engineering software
•    Impeccable attention to detail
•    Excellent problem-solving skills
•    Good project management skills
•    Having led Design teams
•    Effective oral and written communication
•    5 to 10 years of experience
