The company is looking for a sales rep with great customer service skills to join our team. Tac Granite distributes natural and manufactured slabs to licensed Fabricators and Contractors in Florida. The company is quickly growing and in need of someone with sales experience.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contacts towards
- achieving agreed business sales goals.
- Manage products, services, pricing, and margins according to agreed business objectives.
- Utilize customer and prospect contact activity tools and systems and update relevant
- reports and information.
- Respond to and follow up on sales inquiries using appropriate methods.
- Track the progress and status of your customers on an on-going basis to ensure customer
- satisfaction.
- Simultaneously manage multiple sales clients, opportunities, and assignments.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify opportunities.
- Monitor and report on market and competitor activity and provide relevant reports and information.
- Attend and present at internal meetings, along with the other company functions, necessary information to perform duties and aid in business development.
- Help establish and maintain competitive Market pricing through timely and accurate gathering and communication of competitive Market information.
- Inspect and assist in resolving complaints that develop periodically in a timely and professional manner that will maintain business on a steady growth pattern; provide adequate follow-up
- Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers
- Prospect and contact potential customers
- Reach agreed-upon sales targets by the deadline
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints
- Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of the latest developments
- Create sales material to present to customers
- Travel within sales territory to meet existing and new customers weekly.
- Directly assisting In-House clients in identifying what they need and pitching relevant
- products
- Accompanying and guiding customers through our inventory and educating them on
- products
- Build an ongoing relationship at the Contractor, Dealer, Distributor and Builder level
- Is knowledgeable of all TAC Products, Programs, and Sales & Marketing Tools
- Communicate accurate information daily with/ sales manager, executives, and other Field
- Sales Representatives on developments impacting their areas of responsibility.
- Communicate with customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure TAC has adequate distribution in the assigned market area.
- Provide the necessary literature, samples, technical data, and other advertising materials
- needed in the field.
- Promote and display our company products by attending distributor, dealer, and builder
- shows.
- Promote new products and inform customers of promotions, special offers, and incentive
- opportunities.
- Participate in joint sales calls with distributor and dealer salespeople.
- Follow up on quotes and ensure the proper documentation has been sent to customers
- Other duties as assigned by Sales Manager.
Qualifications:
- A valid drivers license
- Must be able to stand and walk for long hours at a time
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, granite or other related fields
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Ability and willingness to travel for client meetings and demonstrations
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Fluent in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking), Bi-lingual is a plus.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations
- Present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, employees, and the general public
- Professional selling skills are critical

Compensation and Benefits:
- Commissions for sales made in-house and outside
- Holiday pay after a predetermined employment period.
- Up to 2 weeks PTO based on employment duration.
