Job DescriptionJob Description

A top ten developer is looking for an Assistant Superintendent with experience in Multi-Family Projects, Apartments, Hotels, and Assisted Living construction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the Superintendent in managing the construction team on site and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest level of quality. You will work closely with project managers, owners, and subcontractors to coordinate all aspects of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and safety. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Superintendent in managing the construction team on site
  • Coordinate all aspects of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and safety
  • Work closely with project managers, owners, and subcontractors to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest level of quality
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, and ensure that all team members adhere to safety protocols
  • Assist with the training and development of team members as needed
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to construction activities

Qualifications:

  • Multi-Family, Projects, Apartments, Hotels, Assistant Living, and construction projects in Northern California
  • WoodFrame Construction, TYPE III, TYPE II, building experience
  • Experience with an affordable housing developer, General Contractor, or CM firm
  • Strong relationships within the local northern California sub-contractor industry
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint and SharePoint, Bluebeam, and Procore.
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
