Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential social services to individuals and families in need. As a Social Worker, you will play a crucial role in assessing clients' needs, developing intervention plans, and connecting them with appropriate resources to improve their overall well-being.
Duties:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Develop individualized care plans and goals in collaboration with clients to address their specific challenges.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients to make positive changes in their lives.
- Assist clients in accessing services such as workforce development programs, Section 8 housing assistance, and mentoring opportunities.
- Implement effective crisis management strategies when dealing with high-stress situations.
- Offer addiction counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse issues.
