Job Title: Accounts Receivable Collections Agent  

 

Company/Industry:  Furniture Designer/Distributor/Servicing Company

 

Location: Proximity to Deer Park, NY

 

Salary: Commensurate with experience  + benefits

 

Status: Direct hire, FT, On-Site

 

Responsibilities:

 

Maintaining Accurate Records:

Manage bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed.

Track incoming payments and properly record them in the system to maintain accurate financial records.

Process deposits into the appropriate financial institution.

 

Communication and Payment Collection:

Communicate with clients and customers to request payment.

Arrange payment plans when necessary.

Collect payments from customers promptly.

 

Reporting and Documentation:

Create reports and that document AR and collection information. 

Update client accounts based on payment or contact information.

Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Familiarity with construction and AIA billing processes a plus. 

Salesforce knowledge a plus.
