Affordable Framing Tempe is a premier, family owned, custom picture frame shop dedicated to providing high-quality framing solutions to our customers. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Manager to join our team and help lead our business to new heights.
Position Overview:
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, sales, cutting and mounting frames, shadow boxing, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining the quality standards of our products and services. This role requires a blend of managerial skills, customer service,sales , and a passion for the arts and framing. *Prior art framing experience is required*
Key Responsibilities:
- Management: Be a self starter and highly motivated person who strives to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Customer Service: Interact with customers face-to-face to understand their framing needs, provide expert advice, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience.
- Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the shop, including inventory management, order processing, and scheduling.
- Quality Control: Ensure all framing projects meet our high standards of craftsmanship and quality even when working unsupervised.
- Sales & Marketing: Sales, promotions, and marketing efforts to attract and retain customers.
- Financial Management: Assist in managing the shop’s budget, control expenses, and work towards achieving financial targets.
- Health & Safety: Maintain a safe and clean working environment, ensuring all safety regulations are followed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a managerial role, preferably in a custom framing environment.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of custom framing techniques and materials is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage financial aspects of the business, including budgeting and expense control.
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale systems and inventory management software.
- Flexibility to work one weekend day as needed.
- Experience sewing/shadowboxing is preferred.
