We are seeking qualified contract Trainers to complement our team in Philadelphia, PA This is a great opportunity for those who are seeking 1099 contract training work; this is not a full-time position. Trainers conduct in-person and online synchronous leadership development training programs to improve individual and organizational leadership and performance in government and nonprofit organizations.

Trainer Responsibilities:

  • Implement leadership programs focused on individual and organizational performance. Courses include Leading Transformational Change, Creating an Inclusive Organizational Climate, Strategic Thinking, Team building, Leadership Styles, Emotional Intelligence, Communicating as a Leader, Developing Others, and more.
  • Maintain training attendance and records

Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or higher
  • Significant experience working in, consulting for, and delivering training in public sector and nonprofit environment
  • Polished platform skills with at least three years experience training/facilitating groups
  • Strong knowledge of the science of teaching, instructional methods and technology, and adult learning theory
  • Ability to build rapport with learners
  • Demonstrated ability to use a variety of teaching methods to engage and motivate learners
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Real-world business experience and expertise
  • Understanding of and an ability to use experiential training techniques
  • Active general liability and professional liability insurance policy
  • Ability to travel, valid driver’s license, cell phone and access to email
  • Access to a sufficient credit limit for reimbursable expenses
  • Required equipment: computer, projector, authoring software, Microsoft Office Suite
