Ideal Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Experience in troubleshooting basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, and VFD drives.
  • Ability to communicate complex electrical issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in Megamation or Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS).
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding work, such as climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, twisting and bending for extended period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and electrical systems to reduce downtime.
  • Conduct inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues.
  • Utilize CMMS for preventive maintenance, inventory, and tasks.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including wiring, circuits, motors, and control systems.
  • Replace faulty electrical components like relays, switches, and sensors.
  • Use electrical diagrams and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Troubleshoot PLCs, specifically input/output and control voltages.
  • Use a multimeter to check voltage and continuity.
  • Understanding Yaskawa robots is a plus.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and drive systems.
  • Replace defective parts using hand and power tools.
  • Assist in the installation of new machinery and electrical systems.
  • Upgrade and modify equipment for efficiency, safety, and compliance.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Work closely with production staff to minimize disruptions.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
  • Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians on complex problems.
  • Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and spare parts.
