Description

A Maintenance Technician plays the integral role of keeping our parking facility operating & repairing any problems when they are discovered before they have a chance to worsen. Candidates will be required to perform a wide range of repair tasks around a facility. The key to success is proactively utilizing preventative maintenance routines to ensure proper performance of the parking facility or parking lot.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize a comprehensive checklist to conduct daily facility inspections ensuring cleanliness & safety standards meet client expectations
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance tasks on parking equipment & various components of the parking facility
  • Diagnose and make necessary repairs to parking access control systems.
  • Identify safety concerns & assist with corrective action plans in cooperation with management team
  • Respond to work orders communicated electronically & follow up with status and completion updates
  • Work with a variety of vendors & ensuring that work orders are completed to satisfaction and accuracy
  • Shovel snow from areas designated by facility manager
  • Assist customers & clients on an as-needed basis
Qualifications
  • Provide supervisor with accurate daily reports demonstrating completion of assignments
  • Possess excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Present a positive attitude at all times, particularly when responding to requests for assistance/service with customers
  • Adapt to changes, delays, or unexpected events
  • Exhibit sound & accurate judgment
  • Meet the physical demands of the job, including but not limited to walking/standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds
  • High school diploma or a combination of education & experience required
  • Have a clean DMV record & valid driver's license
Additional Requirements:
  • Typical schedule is Monday through Friday with occasional weekend shifts based on operational or facility needs
  • Safely operate power tools & machinery
  • Comprehend company policies, trainings, & seminars
