With global headquarters based in Queensland Australia, a US manufacturing facility in Wisconsin, and with aggressive expansion planned in North America, this 100+ person, $50M USD firm is rapidly growing As such we are seeking a Global OEM Manager who will be a pivotal link between our partner, and Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) worldwide. A multifaceted role, encompassing relationship management, technical support, and supply chain coordination. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to build relationships, develop solutions, ensure exceptional customer experiences, successful product delivery, and strategic growth as we expand our footprint in market. The Team You Will Join:

Reporting to the Vice President Global Sales and Marketing you will lead a new, dynamic, hard charging, OEM focused business expansion team. With colleagues in both the US and Australia, you will work from your home office to identify, nurture, manage and grow critical relationships and develop business with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM’s) worldwide and act as the principal point of contact for all customers. As a result, you will increase the presence, market share, and brand awareness of the company in the Americas.

A business development professional through and through – you are entrenched in the mining and/or construction equipment industry with a significant amount of experience in OEM management and sales.

You are a builder. Your expertise in fostering trusted relationships, crafting complex proposals, and conducting detailed commercial negotiations will be critical to closing deals. With outstanding collaboration, communication, and relationship-building skills, you'll thrive in this autonomous role, solving problems and delivering excellent customer service with a positive and energetic approach. Highly organized, you are seeking an opportunity within a well-established team where you can plant roots and help shape the company’s footprint in market. Be ready for travel to customer sites, as you bring your interpersonal skills and strong communication abilities to established and target customers.

What You Will Do:

Key Activity: OEM Relationship Management

  • Establish and nurture collaborative relationships with OEM partners.
  • Understand their business objectives, pain points, and growth strategies.
  • Advocate for mutual benefit, trust, and respect in all interactions.
  • Develop solutions to address their needs.
  • Steer the relationship and solutions provided such that the OEM sees and understands the value provided by the company and considers this value to be superior to what they could achieve on their own.

Key Activity: Technical Product Support

  • Oversee the delivery of technical support to both OEMs and end customers.
  • Direct technical enquires to the relevant teams internally ensuring they are addressed promptly and satisfactorily with timely resolutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Champion best-in-class product experiences for both OEMs and end users

 Key Activity: Supply Chain Coordination

  • Manage product delivery to achieve 100% DIFOT (“Delivery In Full, On Time”).
  • Work closely with OEMs and end customers to accurately forecast demand.
  • Optimize inventory levels, lead times, and logistics efficiency.
  • Mitigate supply chain risks and proactively address any disruptions.

Other Key Activities:

  • Actively collaborate across departments and functional areas to deliver superior business, OEM and end customer outcomes
  • Ensure OEM partners are visited regularly to ensure that their needs are represented within the product strategy.
  • Ensure OEM needs are prioritized and managed through the appropriate systems.
  • Engage and build relationships with industry associates including Machine OEMs, research partners, Subject Matter Experts (SME’s) and other organizations.

·        Deliver cross functional leadership within the business ensuring that collaboration and respect is paramount.

·        Prepare monthly reports as required.

·        Contribute and participate in the development and maintenance of an accurate and up to date system installed base database and market intelligence database.

You Bring:

Minimum 10 years’ experience in OEM management, business development, or sales.

  • Significant Mining and/or construction industry experience
  • Previous mining products/ services OEM management or sales experience. Relevant product knowledge

Strong interpersonal skills, negotiation abilities and cultural awareness

  • Excellent communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain highly collaborative strategic partnerships.
  • Ability & passion to problem solve to deliver exceptional customer value.
  • Self-motivated with results-oriented mindset focused on customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.

Technical acumen to understand complex products and applications.

  • Mechanical Aptitude

Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Proficiency with Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

Formal Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining or Business Management (or equivalent experience)
