Position Overview:  We are seeking a talented Legal Assistant with 5+ years of litigation experience to join our dynamic team The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment. The legal assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our attorneys, maintaining case files, and ensuring the smooth flow of operations within our litigation team. 

 

What you'll do:

  • Calendaring & scheduling hearings, depositions, and meditations.
  • Draft routine legal documents for review by Attorney.
  • Review, organize, and case materials.
  • Draft pleadings, subpoenas, discovery requests and responses, correspondence, interrogatories/answers, other legal documents.
  • Assist in deposition preparation, pre-trial investigations, trial preparation, including assistance with preparation of witnesses for deposition and/or trial.
  • Opening/closing files
  • Administrative case processing.
  • Client Interaction
  • Case updates.

 

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience and knowledge of State and Federal court system and filings.
  • Experience with document management and client management software systems.
  • Litigation experience.
  • E-discovery.
  • Federal and State Court experience.
  • Organized & Detail-oriented.
  • Capable of managing a diverse workload in a fast-paced environment.
