Working within the Business Services department as a member of the Compliance and Safety team, the QA/QC Officer is responsible for implementation of the Premise One and/or job specific QA/QC program. The Officer provides quality support to projects from the planning phase to project completion. Coordinating with the Project Manager, Foreman, and Premise One business teams, the responsibilities of the QA/QC Officer include inspecting materials, processes, and products to ensuring compliance with Company, industry, and client quality standards and regulations, implementing quality management actions and contributing to the continual improvement of company QA/QC policies and procedures.

To be successful the QA/QC Officer should be able to ensure that all materials, processes, and procedures meet regulatory and quality standards, and working across the Premise One organizational landscape, track and resolve any issues or discrepancies in quality that may arise with their assigned job sites or Corporate offices.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with compliance of Corporate and Client specific quality and commissioning plans
  • Review installation methods for conformance to Premise One and job site contract documents
  • Conduct scheduled meetings with safety manager and foreman prior to proceeding with new phases of construction or installation to ensure safety and compliance with regulatory, Premise One, or Client statutes
  •  
  • Make regular site inspections, providing detailed reports noting any deficiencies in the installation, and make follow up inspections to ensure corrective actions are completed.
  • Assist in the development of internal auditing tools and tracking methods to inform or yield data-driven quality improvement plans
  • Performing regular internal audits and inspections, working alone or with Inspection teams to ensure employees adhere to quality and safety policies
  • Assist with the development of company policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Provide departments or site crews with quality planning and support
  • Conduct or assist in the conduct of regulatory and quality training sessions
  • Support quality management documentation and recordkeeping including final QA/QC control submittals or turn-over packages
  • Other duties as may be assigned based on the position’s role with-in the business unit.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years of field construction experience as a Low Voltage Foreman
  • Field experience with physical security systems such as VMS/surveillance, access control systems, or audio visual is a big plus
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and speaking skills
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills

Requirements

 

  • Must be willing to work overtime as required by construction/service schedules
  • On-Call capable for support of 24/7 Client SLAs and/or Emergencies
  • Travel up to 50%
    • Must be willing to travel not less than 30% of the time in Phoenix, AZ market
    • Must be willing to travel out of town up to 25%
  • Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time
  • Must have clean driving record and current US driver’s license
