Express Employment Professionals is actively recruiting for several positions located in the Jessup and Laurel, Maryland areas.

Description: 

Responsible for moving materials around a warehouse or manufacturing facility using heavy machinery. 

  • Receiving shipments: Offloading shipments, moving items to storage, and selecting storage locations
  • Preparing merchandise: Securing merchandise for transport and using radio communications to determine priorities
  • Moving materials: Loading and unloading materials from vehicles, moving pallet-packed materials, and stacking loads in storage bays
  • Utilize forklift, cherry picker, pallet jack and similar to move materials to designation locations
  • Maintaining equipment: Performing equipment checks, basic maintenance, and cleaning, oiling, recharging, and refueling
  • Following safety regulations: Ensuring loads are secure and centered, and adhering to company guidelines
  • Maintaining records: Completing forms, maintaining production records, and reporting issues

Qualifications: 

  • Must have several years and recent experience with forklift operating 
  • The ability to lift 50 pounds
  • A minimum of 3-5 years warehouse experience is a must
  • Full time availability
