Do you like a variety in your workday?

We are seeking an Operations Assistant to join our team In this position, you will not be bored You will perform various technical, clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn about the products we sell and support operations team from a technical standpoint as needed
  • Process all inbound returns
  • Mechanically and electronically troubleshoot, identify and diagose malfuncations of weighing equipment
  • Manage physical inventory and process outbound shipments as needed
  • Assist customers in troubleshooting issues via phone
  • Handle sales or other customer service related inquires as directed
  • Make outbound marketing calls, as directed
  • Assist eCommerce team with management of our overall operations, with an emphasis on managing data/spreadsheets
  • Answer inbound telephone calls
  • Perform all other office tasks as directed
  • Workload can vary week to week but generally is 1/3 techical, 1/3 sales/customer service and 1/3 data entry.

Qualifications:

  • General mechanical, electrical or computer hardware backround preferred
  • Basic understanding of 120VAC wiring and/or DC signal wiring preferred
  • Previous experience in office administration or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • ​Strong organizational skills
  • Valid drivers license
  • Ability to bend, and lift 50 lb for extended periods of time in a safe manner

We will train the right person. Salary based on experience.
