Principal DevOps Engineer – Cloud (Azure/ AWS) Infrastructure 

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated DevOps Cloud Engineer with good knowledge and experience in AWS/Azure Infrastructure and DevOps management to join our rapidly growing team of highly motivated technologists to achieve healthcare payment integrity by helping healthcare organizations in the public and private sectors. This is a role for a seasoned professional with significant exposure to Cloud Infrastructure in AWS and/or Azure. 

At Alivia Analytics, you will have broad responsibilities including building out and deploying Healthcare applications that focus on fraud, waste, and abuse using AI, predictive models, SQL, and optimization algorithms. You will be a key member of our team regularly presenting our technology to our users, and leadership. Key Areas of Responsibility: 

  • 8+ years of experience working experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Ansible workflow management. 

  • Good experience and knowledge of deployment and management of software releases to the cloud and managing cloud infrastructure in Azure/AWS (certifications are preferable) as well as cloud administration. 

  • Experience using the cloud foundation security best practices which include network segmentation, firewall management, update, and vulnerability management, reverse proxy services such as Nginx, automation, performance improvement, scaling, availability monitoring, alerting, backups, recovery, and business continuity. Knowledge of highly available deployments is preferred. 

  • This role offers the opportunity to learn best practices in the above as well as Mobile Device Management, systems administration, database management, and deploying applications using Java, Python, and R technologies using AI and ML. Knowledge of the Cloud Developer track is a plus. 

  • Building and maintaining mature continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Automate various parts of the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins scripting. 

  • Knowledge of IaaC tools such as AWS Cloud Formation, Azure ARM/Bicep, or Terraform is desirable 

  • Must have skills to improve/understand the Release delivery process. 

  • Expertise in deploying applications that use Docker and Kubernetes AKS/EKS Cloud Services. 

  • Implementing appropriate logging, monitoring, and reporting capabilities for infrastructure 
     
     

Qualifications: 

  • Must be an excellent team player working with multi-disciplinary teams (Developers, Architects, Operations, and Testers) to automate and build new application environments on the Cloud. 

  • Understanding of Networking Technologies like routing, network security (firewalls, security groups), subnets, and IPv2 CIDR concepts 

  • Experience working in a team environment using a Source Configuration and Work Management tool such as GitHub and Jira. 

  • At least five years of equivalent work experience in a senior technical position responsible for managing infrastructure operations and application support. 

  • Must be a legal resident or US citizen, and residing in the United States
