Position Overview:
We are in search of a skilled Lead Equipment Technician to become part of our team. The successful candidate will possess extensive expertise in construction machinery, with a focus on cranes. Responsibilities will include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of construction equipment to ensure peak performance and efficiency. This is a full-time role offering competitive remuneration and benefits.

Key Duties:

  • Diagnose and repair various types of construction machinery, with an emphasis on cranes, excavators, bulldozers, and loaders.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to maintain equipment functionality and safety compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Collaborate with equipment operators and project managers to address machinery concerns and prioritize repairs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a mechanic in the construction field, with a minimum of 1 year in a master mechanic capacity.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and repair construction machinery, particularly cranes.
  • Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
