As part of the Human Resources Team, you’ll help us attract, hire and retain the top talent we need to achieve our vision. You’ll play a vital role in defining, developing and maintaining our culture that gives our employees the opportunity to grow and succeed every day. In addition, you’ll provide human resources leadership and support covering the areas of benefits, training, employee relations, employee engagement, and safety and HR compliance. All of this while ensuring consistent application of policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, organizational policies, and rules and regulation
  • Serve as a consultant to advise other managers on human resources issues, such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment
  • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation and preservation of human capital
  • Oversee the recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing candidates. This includes sourcing, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews
  • Ensuring payroll is processed accurately and on time
  • Fosters and maintains an employer friendly environment
  • Creates an inclusive, respectful, productive, and positive working environment
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
  • Assist with all internal and external HR-related matters
  • Facilitates effective and timely communication between all levels of employees
  • Collect and report information to the corporate office as required

Qualifications and Skills

  • Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience as HR Manager
  • Bilingual - Spanish
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Able to thrive in an entrepreneurial, action-oriented, fast-paced and sometimes chaotic work environment

Physical Demands

  • Physical demands are consistent with a warehouse setting
  • Regular sitting at workstation for 25-75% of work shift
  • Frequent standing and walking
  • Able to work an occasional range of shifts based on operational needs
  • Regular work days Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM -3:00 PM
