Very few roles provide the fulfillment that comes from contributing to the well-being of at-risk children and families. At Firefly Children and Family Alliance, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of numerous individuals.

We are currently looking for a Community Resource Center Manager to oversee our initiatives. This role involves the implementation and management of the Community Resource Center within the local area. The Manager will spearhead collaborative efforts focused on primary prevention, coordinate initiatives, and foster community partnerships. This position may involve regular interaction with children under the agency's care.

Your Responsibilities:Community Engagement and Outreach (70%)


• Inspire and collaborate with various community organizations to build professional relationships and partnerships for both the agency and the Resource Center.

• Identify and maintain awareness of both formal and informal community resources that offer family support and recreational opportunities.

• Represent the agency effectively and professionally during outreach events, meetings, and other promotional activities.

• Plan, coordinate, and participate in community events aimed at preventing child abuse and neglect, including those held during evenings and weekends.

• Share success stories, engage families for referrals, and communicate with community members to enhance client service and support the establishment of Resource Centers.

• Ensure program brochures and promotional materials are accurate and readily available.

Case Management (30%)


• Communicate effectively with families seeking services at the Resource Center.

• Collaborate with community stakeholders to provide effective assistance to families.

• Connect families with resources and offer informal support.

• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of community resources to assist families effectively.

Your Qualifications:


• A Master's Degree in Social Work, public health, human services, or related fields. Alternatively, a Bachelor's Degree in these areas with three years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience without a degree.

• Strong understanding and experience in staff management, motivation, and support, along with knowledge of family-centered services and administrative functions.

• Preferred experience in child development.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work effectively within the community.

• Commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards.

• Professional communication abilities.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.

• Collaborative approach to working with diverse individuals.

• Appreciation for and ability to respond to cultural differences.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
