Your performance will be assessed based on the quality of your work, application of accounting knowledge, and ability to meet deadlines.

  1. Assist in reviewing internal control systems and performing audit procedures to support the firm’s accountants' report on client financial statements. This includes testing internal control systems and aiding in the assessment of recorded assets, liabilities, and operational results.
  2. Apply accounting theory and principles, as well as auditing objectives, standards, and procedures, to client situations. Gain insights into clients' systems and procedures, business operations, and industries to inform audit work.
  3. Develop competence in handling common audit and accounting matters, while remaining alert to significant issues in client operations.
  4. Learn about the public accounting profession and its interactions with the public and other stakeholders.
  5. Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively through verbal communication, written documentation, and workpaper organization. Develop skills in maintaining comprehensive workpapers with clear explanations of conclusions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • CPA certification not required but encouraged
  • Willingness to travel 25%
