Job DescriptionJob Description

Amotec is actively seeking a Robotic Specialist Our client is a global manufacturer located near Fort Wayne, IN. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Robotic Specialist will be responsible for troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on robotic manufacturing equipment. This is a 1st Shift full time position and includes a competitive hourly pay, bonus and benefits.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Modify/adjust/troubleshoot robotic programs
  • Troubleshoot and maintain robot paths, wiring, drives, electrical controls, and communications on robotic equipment
  • Set up robotic hardware, installing software, and configuring the robots for specific applications

 

Qualifications Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years of electrical training or a Journeyman’s certification or 5+ years of industry experience working with robotics
  • Strong working knowledge of various robotics and working with PLCs
  • Working experience with Drives and Communication Protocols
