Position Available: Executive Consultant and Philanthropic Project Manager (Part-time)

Ideal for MBAs and CPAs (including those recently retired)

Are you ready to make a significant impact in education, healthcare, and community development? Our boutique philanthropic organization in New York City is seeking an Executive Consultant and Project Manager. In this role, you'll:

  • Guide a family foundation with a variety of philanthropic initiatives, including international projects.
  • Provide consulting and advice to a small medical-related operational non-profit with 4-5 employees.
  • Lead the planning and construction and build out of a Catholic Primary School Campus in rural Uganda.

This role will involve high-level business strategy, trustee advisory, as well as detailed project management tasks, including spreadsheeting and email correspondence. Certain projects will focus on helping some of the poorest people and communities in the world. We are specifically looking for someone with an MBA or CPA who has strong project management skills and a principled approach to their work. This flexible, primarily virtual role requires 8-10 hours per week. Experience in Uganda or similar international settings is a plus, but not required.

Why Join Us?

  • Meaningful Work: Drive projects that improve education, healthcare, and community well-being, including initiatives aimed at supporting some of the world’s poorest communities.
  • Diverse Projects: Consult and advise a medical non-profit and oversee strategic initiatives for a family foundation.
  • Community Engagement: Collaborate with local and international communities on impactful projects.
  • Empowerment: Support children in Uganda and healthcare initiatives in underserved areas.
  • Collaborative Team: Join a passionate group dedicated to making a difference.

Your Role:

  • Ensure smooth project management and organization.
  • Apply MBA or CPA skills to shape long-term strategies.
  • Lead teams, set milestones, and meet project timelines.
  • Advise a small medical non-profit and guide a family foundation’s philanthropic efforts.
  • Manage detailed tasks like spreadsheeting and email correspondence.
  • Align your work with our mission to create positive change.
