HALF TIME Business Development Lead

We are looking for a HALF-TIME Sales Development Lead. You would spend your time working on getting to know medical practices in Oregon: making an effort to meet and charm the reception staff and the office manager to get us to the primary decision makers in primary care practices throughout the state. This may include calling, sending letters and emails, visiting, bringing snacks, follow up and nurturing the relationship. It may include going to meetings or conference, staffing exhibit booths, or similar. Our clients may know of us for a year or more before they decide they are ready, so they have to be cultivated over time. You will also be getting to know health systems across the country but not to visit.
Germane & Wise Mental Health offers a CMS-best practice for mental health care delivery that benefits both the patient and the primary care office at no cost to the primary care office. Our model can deliver treatment for mental illness that is 7 times faster than care as usual and expands the mental health workforce by a factor of 5. It’s truly a win-win but we need your help getting the word out. We have a tested sales process and script to help you become successful quickly.
Skills we are looking for:
The ability to make friends with anybody and enjoy doing it
Knowledge of medical offices and how they work
The ability to tell compelling stories
Demonstrated sales skills and a knowledge of sales processes
The ability to use outlook, CRM, and different communication channels to create leads
The ability to make cold calls and qualify leads over time
A clear process on how to nurture leads
The ability to present with a professional and educated demeanor

If you have additional skills in graphic design, marketing, or website maintenance, that is a bonus but not required.
We can offer: a competitive salary and commissions, benefits, reimbursement for pre-approved travel expenses. We are a small company with a tight-knit group, an easy, no-drama culture, and a supportive, experienced management. Since we are specifically looking for half-time, we can be flexible within the work week or within the month to best meet your needs. We are willing to consider hybrid/remote work (within Oregon) from our headquarters in Corvallis. You will need to visit practices throughout Oregon in person.
