GBC Construction LLC is currently seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer to join our team. The purpose of this position is to utilize engineering concepts and design applications to support construction projects. As a Civil Engineer your responsibilities include designing, managing, monitoring and supervising various projects related to land development.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop plans for projects related to land development, construction, renovation, and infrastructure maintenance in accordance with established codes and regulations

Developing and documenting project plans including goals, strategy, budget, and timelines

Follow day-to-day construction activities

Implement safety programs and lead safety reviews

Perform technical assignments

Oversee designs and ensure that they are compliant with applicable codes.

Use design software applications to develop mechanical designs

Monitor and coordinate construction projects

Manage materials, equipment, and personnel throughout the project

Keep track of budgets and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget

Generate reports and presentations for review

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering

5 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, and project management

In-depth knowledge of Civil Engineering standards and regulations

Ability to interpret design schematics and blueprints

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills

Proficient with CAD, BIM, MS Office, and other engineering software

Solid project management skills

Proven track record of on-time, within-budget project completion

Superior organizational and communication skills

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

Salary Range:

$67,000 to $78,000 per year
