Our company is currently seeking ​an Accounting Assistant to join our team You will be responsible for managing financial transactions, from accounts payable and receivable to reconciling back statements and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Obtain primary financial data for accounting records
  • Compute and record numerical data
  • Check the accuracy of business transactions
  • Perform data entry and administrative duties
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements and reports
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledgers
  • Support Controller with budgeting activities
  • Utilize accounting software for financial data entry 
  • Assist with any clerical tasks related to the accounting department

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in accounting, payroll, finance, or other related fields
  • 1-2 yrs. previous experience as Accounting Assistant or similar role
  • Fundamental knowledge of GAAP or other accounting software
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
  • Understanding of budgeting principles and procedures
