Job Summary: Quality Welding and Fabrication is seeking an experienced Site Lead with a strong background in millwright work, industrial maintenance, and repair to oversee operations in the Lewisburg, Ohio area. The ideal candidate will have extensive fabrication skills, supervisory experience, and a commitment to safety and quality. This role involves leading a small crew across multiple job sites, ensuring efficient and high-quality execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Supervision and Leadership:
    • Lead a small crew of millwrights and technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
    • Manage daily work schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks across multiple job sites.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
  2. Project Management:
    • Oversee and coordinate multiple job sites, ensuring all projects are completed to specification and within deadlines.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
    • Ensure all work meets quality standards and project specifications.
  3. Fabrication and Installation:
    • Supervise and participate in the fabrication, installation, and modification of industrial equipment and structures.
    • Ensure all fabrication and installation work meets quality standards and project specifications.
    • Utilize welding, machining, and other fabrication techniques as needed.
  4. Safety and Compliance:
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all employees.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any hazards or non-compliance issues.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  5. Administrative Duties:
    • Prepare and maintain detailed records of project activities, including work orders, progress reports, and equipment status.
    • Assist in budgeting and cost control efforts, ensuring projects are completed within budget.
    • Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors to procure necessary materials and services.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a millwright with strong industrial maintenance and repair skills.
  • Extensive fabrication experience, including welding and machining.
  • Previous supervisory experience, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial setting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certifications preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to work in various industrial environments, including confined spaces and heights.
  • Capable of lifting heavy objects and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
