What we are hiring for:

We have a full-time role as a Warehouse Operations Supervisor – LTL at MountainMovers Transportation & Logistics in Flower Mound, TX during 2nd shift timeframe.  

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse.  This position oversees all warehouse operations, including but not limited to the loading/unloading of LTL and other trucks; employee training, direction, and first-line supervision; carrier relations; following proper procedure with paperwork. Responsible for covering the floor when manager is unavailable. 

Other responsibilities include:

·         Communicate with LTL or Ops team regarding questions/ concerns. 

·         Review shipments, print out paperwork & check for updates to loads prior to loading. 

·         Check off picked loads and supervise loading. 

·         Ensure the scale is being operated correctly and efficiently. 

·         Train and educate new employees on Warehouse operations & expectations. 

·         Coordinate the truck’s drivers to ensure trucks are loaded in a timely manner. 

·         Prepare and send dock report & ensure pallets are in correct bay location every night. 

·         Fill in for any position if shorthanded. 

These are the minimum requirements to be considered for the role:

·         Must have experience supervising LTL cross-dock 

·         Strong sit-down forklift expertise 

·         Expert at maximizing space on trucks 

·         Strong knowledge of warehouse safety rules and practices; ability to enforce a safe working environment. 

·        Must be able to lift up to 50lbs 

·         Strong organizational and time management skills 

·         Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively 

·         Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 

·         Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities 

·         Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment 

·         Familiarity with transportation and logistics industry is a must 

·         Team player, who will jump in to ensure the company meets all deadlines for the day and a "whatever it takes" attitude to complete the job for all of our customers
