Employbridge Search Group has a client in Flower Mound, TX that is looking for a 2nd Shift Cold Dock Supervisor to join their team This location is a growing, which will offer room for advancement, great benefits (AMAZING PTO plan), and competitive salary.
Hours: Mon-Fri 2-10pm

Job Duties

  • Lead the team to success by driving performance, mentoring, and accountability and offering positive and constructive feedback
  • Ensuring that processes and procedures are being followed and addressing the concerns as needed
  • Daily goals are hit within Receiving, Picking, Shipping, Quality, and Cycle Counting
  • Request USDA inspections when required
  • Establish workload and assign to each employee.
  • Inspect container loading
  • Ensure container numbers to the correct carrier
  • Review stock outs & short allocations
  • Have containers for the day spotted
  • Work with cross-functional teams and provide a Daily Shift Recap Report, as well as reviewing other departments to have a working knowledge of current operational objectives for the coming shift.
  • Ensure daily cycle counts, replenishments, and inventory consolidations are being completed.
  • Ensure the Receiving Staging Lanes are cleared at the end of the shift.
  • Walk the warehouse looking for safety, housekeeping, and employee coaching opportunities.
  • Conduct a Shift Start Up Meeting providing key information to employees and ensure expectations for the shift are being set and understood.
  • Manage KPIs and ensure the daily quotas are being met
  • Partner with Ops Manager and Division Manager on corrective action issues.
  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure they are being met
  • Maintain warehouse, ensure that products are clean and organized to meet and pass certain standards
  • Other duties as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Engineering or Business is preferred
  • 3+ years of dock supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a freezer is required
  • Must have experience working in a fast paced, distribution facility
  • Capable of running a forklift and other warehouse equipment
  • WMS experience (Red Prairie is a plus), as well as TMS experience (Mercury Gate is a plus) is beneficial
  • Case picking at a high velocity is a huge plus
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not required
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Capable of using Microsoft Office
