We are seeking a Sales Manager for our client based in Corona, CA. This person will be reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Manager plays a critical role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across B2B and B2C channels. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, nurturing client relationships, and collaborating with internal teams to optimize supplier partnerships and achieve sales objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and penetrate new markets, aligned with KPIs.
  • Utilize market insights and data to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • Maintain an active pipeline of new business prospects and manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
  • Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics, devising sales plans to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency within sales channels.
  • Cultivate consultative relationships with current and potential clients, serving as their primary point of contact.
  • Conduct in-person visits with clients to foster business expansion and strengthen partnerships.
  • Coordinate and execute trade shows, customer events, and industry engagements as required.
  • Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, and Product Management teams to leverage market trends and customer feedback.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders and technical sales teams to address sales cycle bottlenecks and technical challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of proven experience in sales, ideally within tangible products and B2B environments; experience in online marketplaces is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management experience, preferably leading a sales team; familiarity with e-commerce is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize marketplace data and sales analytics for forecasting and decision-making.
  • Experience with automated sales tools and ERP systems; familiarity with NetSuite is beneficial.
