Spokane Foot Clinic is looking for a Medical Receptionist who will be responsible for assisting with administrative duties at our facility. As a successful candidate, you will be responsible for obtaining patient records and test results, coordinating daily administrative tasks, preparing the office for patients, managing the phones, making appointment and re-appointments.

Wages: $15.75 - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience
Benefits: Medical/Dental/401k/Paid Vacation time
Schedule: M-F, 32-34 hours per week. Position will require travel between offices, depending on the needs of the practice that arise on a day-to-day basis. (Main office, Valley location, South location)

A medical receptionist is responsible for everything from administrative work to patient and physician support tas, doctor offices, medical clinics, and other facilities. They may help to get a patient's medical history information. The scope of their work will depend on the needs of the facility or practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Greeting and checking in patients.
  • Managing phones .
  • Coordinating the daily administrative activities, including scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and patient medical record maintenance.
  • Preparing the office for Clinic patients, retuning calls, managing the faxes etc..
  • Delivering compassionate support, attention, and assistance to patients and families.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
  • Working a EMR system (we will train).

Qualifications:

  • We will accept and train applicants with no experience
  • One to two years of experience in a medical setting is a huge plus
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Desire to learn and become  Medical receptionist.
