Monitor Technician

We are seeking a skilled Monitor Technician to join our team at MultiCare Health System. As a Monitor Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and monitoring services.
Responsibilities- Perform receptionist and communications duties on the patient care unit
- Observe telemetry monitoring and recognition of cardiac dysrhythmias
- Support care delivery and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups
- Utilize independent decision-making capacities and strong interpersonal skills
- Collaborate with Clinical Director and charge nurse for optimal care delivery and patient services
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Completion of an approved Health Unit Coordinator vocational training course and basic arrhythmia course preferred
- One (1) year of patient care experience preferred
- One (1) year equivalent clerical experience in a medical setting preferred
- On the job Training Provided: Successful completion of rhythm identification training and EKG telemetry competency test
