Scope:

  This position requires an organized individual capable of working independently, good interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with different departments. Good communication skills are essential.

Summary:

  Prepare and stage loads to ship out. Receives in raw material and stores in proper location. Organize and clean warehouse.

Job Description:

  The warehouse operator will be responsible for performing visual inspections to check for damaged material daily and report any findings to supervisor.  Operator is responsible to make sure trucks have tandems back and are chocked. Operator will inspect and take photos of trailer before loading and place air lock out on truck and/ or trailer jack and remove once truck is finished loading. Another picture will need to be taken when loaded. Operator will do daily checks on lift and fill out the required inspection form and turn in once completed. Operator will be responsible to clean, which includes sweeping, dusting and empting garbage cans and small dumpsters in their areas when full. The operator will clean outside docks daily to avoid debris going into the drains.

  The operator needs to organize rows by same item number and ship FIFO.

 The operator will need to use the RF gun when staging and shipping finished goods as well as transferring pallets to different lanes. Parent rolls require a different process that does not require the use of the RF gun.

  Pulp receiving is done on a daily basis which requires operator to unload and stage loads in designated rows. Operator will stage the appropriate grades of pulp on the dock daily for use that day.

Essential Functions:

1.      Promote a positive and safe environment obeying all safety rules

2.      Verifies all items shipped are the correct item, damage and contamination free

3.      Trailer are inspected, locked out and choked.

4.      Clean and organize warehouse

5.      Maintain the lifts and perform daily inspections

6.      Quality inspection of the raw materials and chemicals (using the stamp and signature as proof of the inspection) reporting any non-conformance to his supervisor or manager.
