Responsibilities

  1. Project Planning and Execution: Develop and implement both short-term and long-term project plans aimed at enhancing security across various domains.
  2. Agile Project Management: Oversee projects from initiation to completion using Agile methodology to ensure timely delivery of value to business units.
  3. Scope and Deliverables: Define the project scope, deliverables, and timeline, ensuring all are clearly documented and understood.
  4. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  5. Team Coordination: Collaborate with multiple teams to drive projects to successful completion while fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
  6. Progress Monitoring: Regularly track and report on project progress, managing scope changes and identifying key risks. Provide comprehensive visibility into project status, resource needs, detailed requirements, deadlines, and escalation points.
  7. Communication: Maintain effective communication within the project team and across various management levels, building trust and handling sensitive information with discretion.
  8. Risk Management: Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and conflicts, ensuring swift resolution.
  9. Problem-Solving: Provide hands-on problem-solving, developing and implementing effective action plans to address immediate priorities.
  10. Process Improvement: Contribute significantly to the creation and maintenance of project management processes and best practices.
  11. Project Closure: Ensure proper project closure, including handover and the implementation of lessons learned.
  12. Change Management: Develop change management plans and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in technical or information security project management.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of information security, privacy frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Project Management: Experience managing cross-functional projects, building processes, and coordinating deployment schedules.
  • Enterprise Environment: Familiarity with large enterprise environments.
  • Coordination Skills: Ability to effectively coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Requisition Qualification

  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills.
  • Customer Focus: Strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Desired Qualifications

  • Cybersecurity Experience: Background in cybersecurity detection, response, mitigation, or compliance.
  • Certifications: Possession of security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISA) and project management certifications (e.g., PMP).
  • Atlassian Tools: Proficiency with the Atlassian suite of applications, including Jira and Confluence.
