Job Summary:

Our company is seeking an experienced Lead Production, Shipping, and Receiving Technician to oversee the company’s shipping, receiving, and testing of incoming and outgoing products. As a lead Production, Shipping, and Receiving Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing the receipt, processing, and testing of incoming products, including verifying and documenting shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring products are stored in an accessible manner. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing and coordinating outbound shipments, ensuring orders are accurately filled and delivered on time.

Responsibilities and duties include:

  • Perform testing and programming of incoming products per production test procedures and isolate non-compliant products.
  • Manage and oversee the shipping, receiving, organizing, and storing of all products and ensure processing and delivery of product shipments in a timely manner.
  • Load trucks with shipments, strapping boxes onto pallets for shipment, scanning invoices for shipment.
  • Verify stock, maintain an organized warehouse layout, and transport orders to designated customers.
  • Create and maintain shipping and receiving documentation per the company’s procedures and processes.
  • Verify inventory levels, maintain proper warehouse logs, and conduct physical inventories.
  • Work closely with engineering on product test requirements, testing processes, and incoming product issues

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail, and quality.
  • Proficient in time management; the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to take initiative and effectively adapt to changes.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and have a good relationship with co-workers.
  • Able to use sound judgment and work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand, bend, step, lift, push, kneel and sit.  Often requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and transferring heavy items.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are required.
  • Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows, and Microsoft Office.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree in electrical or electronics engineering or related field
  • A minimum of 2+ years of working experience in a similar field
  • Electronic assembly or repair experience is preferred.
  • Warehouse, shipping, and receiving experience is a plus.
