Permitting Coordinator

Fence Outlet is a leading provider of fencing solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Permitting Technician to join our team. As a Permitting Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers receive the necessary permits and approvals for their fencing projects.

• Coordinate messenger and courier service to receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing permits
• Monitor incoming emails and respond or forward as required, as well as fax, scan, and copy permit-related documents
• Update and maintain databases, including mailing lists, contact lists, and client information
• Retrieve information when requested and type documents, reports, and correspondence
• Perform work-related errands, such as retrieving and distributing installation permits
• Assist the General Manager and Assistant General Manager with scheduling outbound jobs in correlation with permits
• Potentially work with customers on callbacks and service-related items
• Perform other clerical responsibilities as assigned

• High school diploma and some related college coursework is preferred or equivalent related experience
• 1-3 years of prior experience in a similar position
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and determine task priorities
• Superior organization, project, and personnel management skills
• Ability to think through problematic situations and suggest viable solutions
• Excellent business, sales, and internet product acumen
