We are seeking a skilled Pavement Markings Laborer to join our team at Landmark Paving. As a key member of our operations crew, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient installation of pavement markings.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist team leads and foremen with daily preparation of materials and equipment for job sites.
- Transport equipment and materials to job sites using company vehicles.
- Load and unload equipment, such as striping machines, paint, and stencils, at job sites.
- Organize and clean stencils used daily at various job sites.
- Assist with snapping chalk lines for striping layouts at each job site.
- Return equipment and materials to the yard upon completion of jobs.
- Clean and prepare job sites to eliminate hazards for crew and public safety.
- Properly use equipment and materials, including striping machines, trailers, paint, and stencils.
- Verify equipment is in working order and report any issues to team leads or foremen.
- Routinely clean equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Minimum experience working on a construction team to complete complex projects.
- General knowledge of striping tools and production, including stencils, striping machines, and striping terms.
- Ability to follow direction, train, and work in a team environment.
- Stamina to meet demanding schedules, including frequent long hours, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays.
- Availability to work overtime as required.
