Job DescriptionJob Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supervising commercial construction projects, including process pipe welding, steam system construction, equipment installation, concrete work, confined space work, core drilling, installing materials, and building structures. The Supervisor will not only oversee project teams and ensure safety standards are met but will also be willing to work alongside team members to complete tasks and manage day-to-day operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Supervise and coordinate all aspects of commercial construction projects, including process pipe welding, steam system construction, and equipment installation.

·         Oversee concrete flat work, footings, walls, and building structures.

·         Manage project timelines, ensuring work is completed on schedule.

·         Perform confined space work and core drilling.

·         Supervise the Install of materials and contribute to building structures.

·         Operate and maintain construction equipment as needed.

·         Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.

·         Assist maintenance teams with daily operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

·         Work together with the team on projects, leading by example and ensuring high-quality work.

·         Assist maintenance teams with routine operations and emergency repairs, including being on-call when needed.

·         Work closely with the owner to ensure project success, taking responsibility for the overall outcome.

Qualifications:

·         Proven experience as a Supervisor in commercial construction, with expertise in process pipe welding, steam systems, and equipment installation, concrete work, confined space work, core drilling, installing materials, and building structures.

·         Understanding of concrete work, including flat work, footings, and walls.

·         Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.

·         Excellent leadership and communication skills.

·         Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.

·         Ability to operate construction equipment.

·         Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

·         Willingness to work alongside team members to complete tasks and achieve project goals.

·         Ability to help with hiring and training other workers as required.
