What We Need:

This Field Service Representative (FSR) position is a full-time overseas deployment to Djibouti. International travel is required on a regular basis. The FSR will be responsible for the installation of Force Protection Equipment and provide training to specialized military units within the AFRICOM area of responsibility while reporting directly to the FSR Manager.

This position is a 1-year minimum commitment, consists of two 6-month deployments located OCONUS in potentially high-risk environments. 

Security Clearance: This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. This position requires an ACTIVE Secret Security Clearance. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Advise operational military users on deployment of DFT Force Protection program equipment. 
  • Maintain current and accurate documentation for DFT Force Protection program equipment.
  • Maintain current and accurate inventory of DFT Force Protection program equipment. 
  • Coordinate deployment and/or receipt of DFT Force Protection program equipment. 
  • Provide technical support for eligible customers within the AFRICOM AOR to include remote troubleshooting. 
  • Deploy to AFRICOM AOR locations for DFT Force Protection program related services. 
  • Install/Maintain/Troubleshoot/Deinstall DFT Force Protection program equipment in austere locations. 
  • Provide training to the Customer on DFT Force Protection troubleshooting and operations. 

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of military experience. 
  • 2+ years of experience in a deployed/OCONUS environment (preferred). 
  • Experience within the Special Operations community is desired. 
  • Prior experience supporting surveillance/camera systems is desired. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Must be able to lift over 50 lbs. 
  • Achieve qualification with an M4 rifle and an M9 pistol, or an equivalent variant pistol, if required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network +, and/or CompTIA Security + certifications. 
  • AS/BS Degree in a related field. 
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). 
  • TCP/IP Network troubleshooting. 
  • Fault isolation and root cause analysis.
