Position Summary:

As a Key Account Manager at Volt Solar Energy C&I you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through the identification, development, and management of new business opportunities in the commercial and industrial solar energy sector. You will be a key player in expanding our market presence and ensuring that our solar solutions are effectively tailored to meet the unique energy needs of our clients.

You will also be responsible for managing and nurturing our key client relationships. You will work closely with our clients to understand their energy needs and develop tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. This role plays a crucial part in achieving our revenue and sustainability goals while ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

                  Market Research and Analysis:

●      Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and competitors.

●      Analyze and assess market dynamics to identify growth opportunities.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

●      Identify and engage with prospective C&I clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and industry events.

●      Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline of qualified leads.

Client Relationship Management:

●      Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in target organizations.

●      Understand clients' energy requirements and recommend customized solar solutions.

Proposal and Presentation Development:

●      Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases to showcase the value of our solar solutions to potential clients.

●      Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the alignment of proposed solutions with client needs.

Contract Negotiation and Closure:

●      Lead contract negotiations and work towards successful deal closure.

●      Ensure that contracts are mutually beneficial and compliant with industry standards.

Sales Strategy and Planning:

●      Work with the senior management team to develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets.

●      Monitor and report on sales performance, and make data-driven adjustments as necessary.

Regulatory Compliance:

●      Stay up-to-date with relevant solar energy regulations, incentives, and policy changes.

●      Ensure that all business activities comply with legal and environmental standards.

 

Qualifications:

●      Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).

●      Proven experience in B2B sales within the solar energy or renewable energy sector.

●      Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, systems, and their applications in the C&I sector.

●      Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

●      Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

●      Knowledge of financial modeling and ROI analysis related to solar energy projects.

●      Familiarity with regulatory and incentive programs related to solar energy.

●      Knowledge of CRM software and sales analytics tools a must
