The Key Account Manager will manage key accounts, and build long-term, trusting relationships with a focus on retaining and growing their dedicated book of business. It is imperative for this role to work cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Operations to create optimal client experiences and bridge the gap between product and customers. The Key Account Manager as part of the Customer Success team will work in tandem with the Customer Success Manager assigned to the account. This will ensure value is delivered through meaningful relationships and a deep understanding of the client’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own all key account commercial responsibilities and focus on managing existing accounts at the strategic level and support the Customer Success Manager to ensure value is delivered on a daily basis.
  • Drive growth of existing accounts and cross-sell products, while maintaining retention of existing customers.
  • Navigate the complexities of large global customers and move beyond the existing buying center.
  • Drive partner relationships with brand & agency clients to create content for multi-channel marketing programs, including influencer marketing, SaaS, and UGC capabilities.
  • Exceed quarterly and annual revenue goals based on maintaining current business and securing upsell/renewal opportunities with current partners.
  • Continuously share best practices, through leadership and best practices among our client base, and educate them on industry trends, new releases, and product enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the analytics and ROI behind the client programs and analytics of the platform to tangibly communicate their value.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders including Sales, Operations, Support, Product, Tech, Client Success, and Content Marketing.
  • Communicate program progress clearly to internal and external teams by reviewing KPIs to benchmarks, ensuring we exceed objectives.

Key Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree or higher preferred
  • 3+ years of brand marketing/eCommerce/influencer/content marketing experience
  • 1+ years of project management
  • 2+ years of proven account management experience
  • Self-starter with a creative entrepreneurial spirit
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to understand and resolve prospective client challenges/objections
  • Adaptable and able to quickly learn new technologies and processes
  • Have experience selling cutting-edge, disruptive technology to top decision-makers at the enterprise level
  • Salesforce experience
  • Willing to adapt to changes in the job description as deemed necessary by the business and accept all other duties as assigned.
