Superior Duct Fabrication is looking for a Facilities Manager to add to our growing team. The Facilities Manager manages the maintenance, construction, repair, and refurbishment operations of all SDF facilities and properties. Implements policies and procedures that ensure the optimal functioning of buildings, grounds, and associated equipment. Monitors daily building operations of all systems, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management to ensure reliability. Tracks work orders for quality, adherence to service standards, and budgeted guidelines. Trains supervisors and employees in best practices for maintenance work, service and safety standards, and local laws and regulations. Oversees vendors or contractors engaged for construction projects. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. knowledge of the function and department processes.

This is a full-time exempt position, working out of our Pomona Warehouse with travel as needed to our other facilities. This position reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities:

•          Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members

•          Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor recreation spaces

•          Performing routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed

•          Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors

•          Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with security system vendors or a team of security professionals

•          Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenance orders

•          Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for supervisors and other relevant staff

•          Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions

•          Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs

•          Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

•          Support our company’s foundational values in the stated areas of Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, Integrity and other ways that make SDF a company of choice for employees and customers.

•          Other duties may be assigned

Qualifications:

·         5+ years of experience in facility management, maintenance, operations management, or a related role

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively

·         Strong leadership skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams

·         Organized and Manages Times effectively
