The Program Support Lead must reside in South Korea.


CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

2.     ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN FAVORABLE FITNESS DETERMINATION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with regional lead to support operational deployment activities for staff in assigned region. Assist in the development and maintenance of regional coverage model and synchronization of field staff training.
  • Monitor regional travel management activities and support the ODC request process for assigned region.
  • Support the validation and monitoring of regional Participant Guide, Instructor Guide, Data Collection Tool order review and inventory management activities.
  • Ensure documents and processes are adhered to per program requirements and facilitate the timely completion of tasks.
  • Consolidate and review a variety of documents and materials from staff, ensuring program guidelines and processes were followed; Submit consolidated reports to Regional Lead.
  • Participate in leadership teleconferences/virtual meetings, as required.
  • Assist Regional Lead in informing installation staff about new policies, procedures, and operational guidance.
  • Oversee program filing, including compliance documents.
  • Assist with routine program correspondence.
  • Provide general support to the program team to include updating spreadsheets, developing and consolidating reports, database entry, providing phone coverage, etc.
  • Procures supplies and materials, as appropriate for the position.


KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 4 years’ equivalent work/military experience.
  • Preferred emphasis in management and administrative control.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel, Access, and Word.
  • Strong customer management and support skills, and organizational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of transitioning Service member population.
  • Ability to multi-task, coordinate subordinate personnel, organize and track deliverable progress.
  • Ability to work effectively and flexibly with a team, maintaining a can-do attitude.
  • Cultural sensitivity and ability to build relationships with a wide range of people.
